How to remove failed triggers in Publigo

In this article, we will show you how to remove triggers that are no longer functioning correctly. Triggers can stop working for various reasons, but the most common cause is when a template or data source is permanently deleted by the user. It's important to note that deleting certain triggers may prevent your scheduled campaigns from being launched. So, proceed with caution when removing triggers.

If you received an error email from Google regarding the launch of a trigger, follow method A. Otherwise, follow method B.

Method A. You received a Summary of failures email

If you received this email from Google with the subject "Summary of failures for Google Apps Script", it means that your trigger failed. To resolve this:

1

Click the link provided by Google saying “ click here”.

2

A new window will open with a table displaying the trigger that Publigo created.
On the row where your trigger is displayed, click More actions > Delete trigger.

3

A pop-up window will open, click DELETE FOREVER to confirm.

The problematic trigger should now be removed from the list.

Method B. Directly access the Triggers from Apps Script.

1

Go to https://script.google.com/home/triggers.
Look for relevant triggers (Publigo’s triggers are marked as " Time-based" in the Event column).

2

On the row where your trigger is displayed, click More actions > Delete trigger.

3

A pop-up window will open, click DELETE FOREVER to confirm.

The problematic trigger should now be removed from the list.
