Resolve problems regarding multiple account issues

Are you tired of using multiple Gmail accounts and constantly running into account-related issues when using Publigo? In this guide, we will teach you how to solve multiple account-related issues in Gmail. Whether you're juggling work, personal, or even side project accounts, you will learn how to correctly log in to separate sessions in your Chrome browser so you can use Publigo even with multiple accounts opened.

Why am I getting this error?

If you are connected to Google/Gmail using several accounts within the same browser, Publigo might try to access your spreadsheet using the incorrect account. You could have one of the following error messages displayed on the Publigo sidebar:

  • Publigo is lacking the authorizations needed to run.
  • Multiple accounts issue.

Please log out of your account XXX to use Publigo with the account YYY.

Steps to resolve this problem

You need to make sure that you are logged in with a single Google account per Chrome session

1

In Google Sheets, click your Google Profile photo (next to the Share button).

2

Click Sign out of all accounts.

3

Click Continue > Delete an account.

4

Delete all other accounts that are not marked as Default in Step 2.
In our example, the secondary account that we will delete is the one with the purple S as its profile photo.

5

Log in to your relevant account. Then in Chrome, click your Google Profile photo.

6

Click Add.

7

Follow the instructions and log in to the account you removed in Step 4 (or to the account that you’ll use to generate your files with Publigo).

Once you’ve completed all those steps, you should be able to use Publigo with the relevant account without getting the error message anymore.
